How can you make real changes in your habits so that you can overcome the blocks that are keeping you stuck?


Peak performance coach Sharde Zahria says we want to create a To-Be List. She says a to-do list is the things you want or have to do, and a To-Be list focuses on how you want to show up and the qualities and characteristics you want to embody.


She says, “When you really clear on the on what identity you want to have, your To-Be List, it’s so much easier to align your behaviors behind that.”


A to-do list focuses more on immediate tasks and what you need to do now or today, and a To-Be List focuses more on the future, who you want to be, and what you want to achieve. It’s a powerful tool for creating a vision for yourself, setting goals, and creating a plan.


Create your own To-Be List by answering three questions:


1 - What is something big you want to do in the future?

I want to be a starter on a championship team.


2 - What do you have to do to make this happen?

I need to spend 20 minutes every day dribbling the ball and make 300 shots every day.


3 - Who do you have to be to make this happen?

I need TO BE committed to the plan and process. I need TO BE someone who has grit and doesn’t quit.
