LA Laker legend and NBA Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant was known as one of the hardest-working athletes in the NBA, but one of the things I love hearing most about Kobe is his desire to learn.
Michael Jordan said that Kobe was always trying to be a better person. He and Kobe would talk about basketball, business, and family, and anything else that help Kobe become a better father, husband, and man. MJ said Kobe would text and ask him questions any time of the day or night.
In the video below, Kobe Bryant said he would ask a lot of questions when he was in the NBA. He said the keys to his success were his competitive nature, work ethic, and curiosity. He would ask his teammates how to do the things they were good at. He would ask the Laker greats questions about certain games he studied growing up. He said, “I would always ask questions and try to learn as much as I could.”
